H.O.P.E. Ministries would like to thank Paula Green & Angela Hayes, owners of H & R Block in Princess Anne, for their donation in the amount of $1000.00 presented to us on Friday, March 11.  They have also been a drop off location for canned and dried goods.  We are so thankful to have businesses like this in the community that see what the need is and so willingly have come forward to help. This donation will enable H.O.P.E. Ministries to continue feeding those who need a home-cooked, hot meal.  We are so blessed!

SHARP Energy Partners with H.O.P.E.

We want to take the time to give a special THANKS to Sharp Energy in Pocomoke, MD for all they have done to help H.O.P.E. Ministries. They started by graciously donating 150 gallons of propane to get us going and they have given us a very discounted rate on all our usage. Their service department made several visits to check all our gas equipment and get them up and running. They also came back to help us as we added an additional stove that was donated. This excellent service was all provided at no charge. We are so blessed to have local businesses like Sharp coming along side us as we work to feed our community.

We say it almost every week.....but Lord we thank you for letting us be Your hands and feet. It is an honor to be able to do Your work. This is not about anyone of us but totally about what You have orchestrated....what You have provided....what You have ordained. The Lord had us provide 111 meals just this weekend plus sending many bagged lunches out on top of that so people could have lunch Saturday and Sunday. Thank you God for putting this ministry on the hearts of thi...s county and even others outside of this county. People are getting free Bibles and thankful to have them! People are getting connected to other people to help them on this journey we are all on. You are great Lord!! You have a mighty vision for Your people and it is unfolding before our eyes! Your love knows no boundaries ! Just this weekend a gentleman was sitting there eating and was talking to one of our volunteers and he said, " I just don't want to leave here. I really love it here ." I am thankful people see You through Your people Lord. Help us to always be that to Your people.

I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are happy to announce that we passed our Health Department Inspection and are looking to open the first time on Friday, January 29, 2016. We are planning on opening from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm to serve our first meal. We are looking to serve a few meals to work out any bugs we have before having the official Grand Opening. Once everything has been worked out, we will be contacting everyone that has expressed an interest in helping. We are still waiting on more equipment that possibly may get donated that will really help us out. We still need to do some general cleaning and organizing to get things ready. We want to say thanks to everyone who has worked so diligently to get things ready to open. I also want to thank everyone who has donated; we are so blessed to be able to be part of God's plan. This whole ministry would not work without the support of the community and are so grateful for everyone who has asked to help. We're also looking forward to everyone else from the community who is going to get involved. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we continue to work to get HIS ministry up running to be the hands and feet of Jesus. If you want to donate in any way, or have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us through email, Facebook or by phone. You can get all of our contact info from our Contact page on our website.

Thank you,

HOPE Ministries staff.
